Help Extend the Cure
Extending the Cure is a multi-year, collaborative effort to not only identify incentive-based policy options to promote the conservation of antibiotic effectiveness, but also to critically assess the benefits and costs of these options.
Going forward, we will establish several targeted research teams to tackle specific issues and knowledge gaps identified in our inaugural report. The expected research topics will encompass issues ranging from the value of rapid diagnostic tests in assessing infections to the institutional characteristics that predict resistance to the redefinition of property rights for antibiotics.
